Position Summary

The Director of Enrollment Management & Parent Engagement is a senior leadership position reporting to the Head of School. The Director oversees recruitment, admissions, enrollment, re-enrollment, and parent engagement in alignment with the school’s mission and enrollment goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Enrollment & Admissions

• Lead all aspects of recruitment, admissions, enrollment, and re-enrollment

• Develop and implement enrollment strategy and annual admissions cycle

• Plan and lead tours, open houses, and prospective family events

• Track and analyze enrollment data, yield, and retention metrics

• Cultivate relationships with feeder schools and community partners

• Oversee new family onboarding

• Manage admissions parent ambassador programs

• Partner with Development & Communications on marketing and outreach

Parent Engagement

• Oversee the Parents Association

• Support parent volunteer leadership and committees

• Create opportunities for parent community building

• Strengthen retention through relationship-building initiatives

Leadership & Administration

• Serve as a member of the leadership team

• Participate in strategic initiatives and cross-department collaboration

• Attend school events, including occasional evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Experience in admissions, enrollment management, or related field

• Experience managing recruitment, yield, and retention strategy

• Experience using enrollment management systems and databases

• Strong organizational and data analysis skills

• Skilled communicator and public-facing representative

• Experience planning and leading events

• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging

• Independent or progressive school experience preferred
