The qualified candidate’s primary role is JK-12 Director of Financial Aid and Senior Admissions Associate in the Admissions and Enrollment office. The position reports to the JK-12 Acting Director of Admissions and Enrollment. Exact title will be determined by the candidate’s experience.
Financial Aid:
Manage all aspects of the financial aid process in collaboration with the A&E Office for current and prospective families
Serve as a primary contact for all current and prospective financial aid recipients
Keep all financial aid information current and accurate on the website
Ensure that deadlines and access to our FA systems are clearly communicated to currently enrolled families and prospective families
Assist with all FA reports as needed throughout the year
Work with our database and outside contractors to keep the highest standards of ethical data gathering and financial aid awards
Work closely with the Director of A&E and the Business Office on all aspects of the FA
Maintain confidentiality of all information provided by families
Admissions and Enrollment:
Support all aspects of the JK-12 Admissions and Enrollment office.
Interview applicants and their families across divisions
Help maintain admissions database
Participate in admissions and enrollment events, occasionally in the evenings and on weekends
Help with outreach to attract prospective families
Assist with re-enrollment and yield efforts
Be part of a team across all divisions with retention and enrollment efforts
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree is required.
At least three years of experience in independent school financial aid and admissions, including interviewing prospective families
Previous experience should include working with admissions and enrollment databases and financial aid platforms, such as Finalsite and/or Clarity
Strong organizational, data management, and data presentation skills
Proven interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with parents, guardians, students, administrators, faculty and staff
Demonstrated personal and professional commitment to DEIAB and an inclusive experience for families that fosters belonging for all students
Experience interviewing prospective students MS-US.
Compensation:
This is a full-time position with an expected base salary of $100,000–$150,000 commensurate with education and experience.
