At La Lumiere, we form character, cultivate scholarship, and explore faith in order to grow into more complete versions of ourselves.
That means that we challenge our students to thrive in all facets of their lives and support them in that endeavor. Here on our wooded campus near La Porte, Indiana (an hour southeast of Chicago), we meet our freshmen where they are, carefully stretching them out of their comfort zones while developing an intentional, supportive environment. By graduation, our seniors are well on their way to growing into the best versions of themselves, comfortable in their own skin and hungry for the next challenge—students who have grown in character, scholarship, and faith, and who believe that they’re at the helm in their own journey.
