UNIVERSITY SCHOOL is seeking a Lower School Admission Director for the Shaker Heights Campus.
The Lower School Admission Directoroversees all aspects of the admission process for Junior Kindergarten through fourth grade and works closely with families and guides them through the admission process. The Lower School Admission Director collaborates with the Director of Admission and Financial Aid, the Middle School Admission Director, the full Marketing team, parent volunteers, and the Lower School Director and faculty.
Major responsibilities include interviewing applicants and parents, coordinating applicant files; facilitating assessments and school visits; facilitating student screenings and student on-campus visits; and keeping accurate records of student application process. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three years of experience in admissions or admissions related activities, exceptional communication and people skills including writing, listening, and public speaking as well as have the energy, warmth, patience, flexibility, and sense of humor necessary to work effectively with applicants and their families, members of the Admission team, and the whole school community.
