The Loomis Chaffee School seeks an Associate Director of Admission to join a talented, enthusiastic admission team and an engaged, equity-minded faculty committed to the growth and development of young people and passionate about the school’s mission to inspire in our students a commitment to the best self and the common good.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with the dean of enrollment and director of admission & financial aid to design and implement recruitment strategies to meet established enrollment goals;
Develop new and maintain established relationships with school counselors and educational consultants;
Interview prospective students, read and evaluate admission files, and serve on the Admission Committee;
Coordinate and/or assist in implementation of programming efforts both on-and off-campus;
Support and/or manage projects related to other office-wide efforts as assigned: e.g, marketing, territory management, data analysis, campus visitors, community volunteers, etc.;
Assist in other areas as needed.
The Loomis Chaffee School is an independent, coeducational boarding/day school of 725 students and 170 faculty members, located in the historic town of Windsor, Connecticut. Chartered in 1874, the school provides an academically challenging curriculum within a supportive community that affirms individual beliefs and differences. Need-based financial aid is currently awarded to 33 percent of the student body.

A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Preference will be given to applicants with prior admissions and/or boarding/independent school experience.
This is a full time, ten-month position.
