The Director of Enrollment Management is responsible for managing the year-round admission process, from inquiry to matriculation into the school community and retention. Inspired and guided by the school’s international mission and bilingual program in grades PK-8, they can develop a culturally-competent admissions approach. The Director of Enrollment Management is an integral member of the School Leadership Team and serves on the Financial Aid Committee. Additionally, the Director of Enrollment Management works closely with the Head of School and the Business Manager to meet strategic admission goals to achieve target enrollment, and with the Division Heads regarding open houses, enrollment events; student evaluations, etc..
The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to the school's mission and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building long-term relationships with families, students, staff, and the external community. This is a 12-month, full-time position that requires flexibility in order to meet the needs of the role, which can include evenings and weekends.
Managing the process and setting the tone and vision for attracting, enrolling, and retaining a strong, diverse, mission-appropriate student body best suited for FASP’s program and culture.
Working with the Head of School and the Business Manager to create and oversee the school’s enrollment and financial aid budgets and strategies, communicating regularly with the Board of Trustees about strategy and progress.
Partnering with the Director of Marketing, Communications, and Development in a wide variety of marketing initiatives, including events, personal outreach, and community and parent engagement.
Producing reports of the relevant statistics on all aspects of the admissions and re-enrollment process, as well as the financial aid program.
Informing families about the financial aid process and supporting them throughout the application process.
Informing local community-based organizations, and external communities throughout the local area about FASP’s mission and values.
Engaging in the life of the school, playing a vital role in the FASP community, and serving as a model for the school’s mission and values.
Managing the daily operations of the Admission Office.
Cultivating relationships and collaborating with Parent Ambassadors.
Building and maintaining relationships with other Directors of Admissions in the area. Attending and contributing to NJAIS, NAIS, and other related association training and conferences.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
5 years of experience in an admission function in an educational setting
Interest in bilingual education
Knowledge of the French language and culture is an advantage
Knowledge of Google applications, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required; comfort with technology, especially with the school’s SchoolAdmin admissions database
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all the school’s constituents while maintaining strict confidentiality
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently
Highly resourceful and motivated – a “self-starter” with infectious energy and enthusiasm
