Salary Range: $65,000-75,000 (depends on years of experience)

Work directly with the Director of Communications and be a steward of all St. Luke’s School messaging and branding.
Manage internal and external communications, including community messages, social media channels, and online presence, in partnership and collaboration with the Director of Communications.
Manage the school website, with a focus on keeping content accurate, up-to-date, and maintained. This includes regular reviews during the school year, along with an annual overhaul to ensure alignment with school-wide strategic initiatives.
Assist in generating and editing content. This includes letters to the community, weekly newsletters, content for marketing material, and other pieces as needed.
Partner with teachers, division heads, and other members of the St. Luke's community, as well as the Communications team, to consistently review the school calendar to ensure comprehensive coverage of all important events and celebrations of learning.
Generate lively, authentic, diverse content for our social media channels on a consistent basis. Be a seeker of stories, an innovator. Partner with students to highlight and amplify their voices.
Cover all important school events and activities, and proactively seek photo opportunities.
Design posters, graphics, and other promotional material.
Other duties as required. As part of the admin support team, this includes assisting in other administrative tasks and on events and projects as needed.
Be present at the school during the required work hours. Also be available to arrive early, stay late, and possibly work over the weekend in order to have a presence at events and activities.
Be able to stand for long periods of time and carry equipment such as cameras and lenses while taking photos at events.
Be able to sit for long periods of time in front of a computer while editing and creating communications and marketing materials.
Contact and communicate with students, faculty/staff, parents, visitors, and vendors on a regular basis. Contact and communication consists of face-to-face discussions, email, phone calls, and letters.
Time Management: ability to manage own time and time of others in order to meet expectations and deadlines.

Enforce school policies and rules with students.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Faculty members also need to be proficient with Google Classroom and have the ability to use classroom technology such as Smart Boards, Zoom, etc.
EDUCATION & WORK REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree or at least 3 years related experience
Experience writing and editing copy. A passion for telling stories preferred.
Experience and comfort with photography.
Graphic design skills and experience.
Proficient in Adobe Suite - Photoshop, inDesign, Illustrator
Proficient in Microsoft Suite - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Proficient in Google Suite - GMail, Sheets, Docs
