Overview
The position assists with all aspects of the admission and enrollment process and has an interest in working in an independent boarding school environment. The Associate Director of Admission is a member of the admission and financial aid committees and reports directly to the Director of Admission. This faculty member carries out additional responsibilities such as residential and/or co-curricular assignments. Priority consideration will be given to candidates who can assistant coach one of the following sports: tennis, football, soccer, diving, or indoor/outdoor track track field events, specifically jumping.
Responsibilities and Duties:
In collaboration with the entire team, develop, execute, and evaluate the vision for recruitment of students for the school including goal-setting and attainment.
Effectively communicate and build relationships with prospective families, feeder schools, educational consultants, international agents, etc.
Participate in all facets and phases of the enrollment process, including fielding inquiry calls, conducting on/off-campus student interviews, and traveling domestically and internationally.
Responsible for managing the inquiry to enrollment process. As a member of the admission committee, read applications and make admission decision recommendations.
Become adept in the strategic relationship between admission, marketing, and financial aid while achieving enrollment and retention objectives.
Manage a strategic partnership(s) with internal and/or external admission stakeholders e.g. volunteer management, marketing, student ambassador program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
General understanding of standardized testing and different academic environments.
Interpersonal skills, organization, and strong work ethic.
Possess strong communication skills, an enthusiasm for working with young people, a desire to travel domestically and internationally, and an ability to connect with a diverse group of students and families.
Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of an ever-changing boarding school environment.

· Environment: Work is performed in an indoor/office environment where the noise level ranges from quiet to moderate. Work will also be performed outside an office environment to visit prospective students and families. These environments will vary.
· Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to travel in all modes of transportation; sufficient manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate office machinery; and to verbally communicate to exchange information with both English-speaking and non-English speaking contacts.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 3 years of experience in independent school or higher education admission work
Possess the energy, ability, and willingness to travel overnight, both domestically and internationally, and have flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings when needed for campus events
Be comfortable operating in Google Workplace and willing to learn different databases
