Position Summary: The Associate Director of Admission reports to the Director of Enrollment Management and is responsible for the recruitment, selection and enrollment of mission aligned students in support of strategic enrollment goals.
Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students and their families throughout the enrollment cycle, from inquiry through yield and matriculation.
Generate interest in WRA by cultivating relationships with schools, consultants, program leaders and recruitment partners.
Using professional judgment and an accurate understanding of the qualities of students who thrive at WRA, participate in the evaluation and selection of applicants for admission.
Participate fully in WRA’s 24/7 residential community, including advising; dorm duty, one season of coaching, or the equivalent; and other duties as assigned.
Embrace a schedule that will include work on some evenings and weekends as well as regional, national, and international travel.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and self-motivated professional who enjoys working with teenagers.
Ability to articulate the value of an independent boarding school education.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing
Strong organizational and project management skills with a results orientation
A positive outlook, sense of humor and flexibility
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
3+ years of related professional experience, preferably in a boarding school or college admission office.
