This 12-month position involves significant and varied responsibilities within the Enrollment Management office. As a key member of the team, the Associate Director must fundamentally embrace and further the school’s mission, vision, and culture. The ability to articulate philosophy and program is essential; likewise, the ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of child development and some experience assessing students in a classroom setting.
The position requires working closely with the Director of Enrollment Management in planning and implementing a comprehensive range of parent and student outreach, new student onboarding, and retention events. The Associate Director represents TPS at external programs —for example, school fairs, community events — and at internal events, such as open houses, parent information sessions/tours, and other admission events. Admission programs include weekday, evening, and weekend events.
The Associate Director has primary responsibility for managing all aspects of the Parent and Student Ambassadors program and Admissions Events. They also have a portfolio of applicants for whom they manage the entire process including, but not limited to student assessments and visits, parent meetings, and campus tours. As a liaison to the faculty, the Associate Director will attend meetings and interact regularly with the Program Team, teachers, and student support teams to monitor student success and retention. Other duties include responding to data management, admission calls, emails, coordinating on-campus play days and student visits, training admission file readers, participating in Admissions Committees, and finalizing admission decisions with the Director of Enrollment Management and divisional leadership.

A bachelor’s degree is required.
A strong background in education that includes some teaching experience and/or 2+ years of school admission work strongly preferred.
Must have proficient knowledge of a variety of MAC/PC computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software in Google Suite.
Overall mobility is essential including sitting, walking, standing, driving, and working under adverse conditions for extended periods of time during the school day from 7am-6pm.
