Salary Details:
The communications and marketing designer is a strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail. The successful candidate should be innovative, organized, and self-motivated with an interest in driving strategic messages to key internal and external stakeholders.
Responsible for creating strategic marketing campaigns, budget strategies for marketing, targeting the demographic data of our target audience and the day-to-day management of the school’s digital and print media properties. The successful candidate will be managing the adoption and implementation of social media best practices across all channels, and producing a semester marketing plan for each school year.
The successful candidate should be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, and a team player. Will be an active participant in data collection and analyses in order to consistently improve the school’s marketing and communications practices over time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
All employees at CAC are expected to relate positively to and communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents. All employees are expected to organize work efficiently and manage time effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. (Communications, Marketing, or related field)
- Proven experience as communication & marketing designer or similar role
- Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
- Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to work in a highly complex working environment
- Fluent English required; Arabic desired but not required
- Excellent English-language writing, editing, proofreading
- Digital layout/design, professional printing/publishing, and web design skills
- Basic Photography Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools
- Additional Skills & Experiences:
- Developing and implementing communications strategies
- Using and managing social media tools and forums (such as facebook, twitter, etc), advertising, media outlets, email mailing lists and related digital tools.
- Proven experience in using analytic tools
- Work with print, design and production vendors
- Interpersonal Skills:
- A strong track record as an implementer who is able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives and thrives on managing a variety of key projects concurrently
- High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels
