Moorestown Friends School is a PS-12 co-educational day school rooted in Quaker values, committed to fostering academic, spiritual, and ethical growth in its diverse student body. With a student body of 640 students, our faculty are passionate about and committed to developing meaningful relationships with students and innovating in the classroom. Founded in 1785, the school is located on 48 acres in the heart of Moorestown. We maintain a low student/faculty ratio and offer 18 rigorous Advanced Placement courses as well as extensive Arts and Service Learning programs. All second grade students receive Suzuki violin instruction, and all Middle School students take Chinese, French, or Spanish. Varsity and Junior Varsity sports include: baseball, basketball, cross country, field hockey, fencing, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and swimming. We are committed to fostering an environment that is both diverse and inclusive. Forty-six percent of our students are students of color and a wide variety of religious faiths are represented. MFS is home to students representing over 60 school districts within a 50-mile radius of Moorestown, and nearly one-third of MFS students in Grades 1-1...2 receive financial aid. In keeping with the Quaker philosophy of honoring each individual, students representing different ethnic, cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds are challenged daily to respect and learn from one another.
