Job Description:
The Assistant Director of Admissions/ Marketing Coordinator is a full-time, twelve-month position responsible for 9th grade enrollment, retention, and admissions marketing. The position requires the individual to consistently interact positively with current and prospective students and families. The ideal candidate will become an expert in Park Tudor’s curriculum, program offerings, processes and opportunities and will be able to communicate, articulate, and exhibit its mission, vision, and values.
Essential Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the admissions process for grade 9 from beginning of admissions process to onboarding
Work with Director of Enrollment Management and Director of Strategic Communications to develop and articulate an annual admissions marketing plan
Work with outside vendors to extend and articulate Park Tudor’s brand to prospective students in the admission and enrollment process
Manage admissions social media presence in conjunction with Communications department
Create a welcoming atmosphere for each prospective student/family, emphasizing the personal aspect of the admission process
Manage and coordinate the logistics, details, scheduling, and communication of 9th grade shadow days, See Us in Action events, high school nights, open houses, freshman welcome events, admissions testing (which will include a few evenings and weekends)
Work in tandem with admissions and division directors to directly impact 8th to 9th grade retention
Communicate effectively about curriculum, programs, and opportunities in the Upper School
Respond to telephone, written, and in-person inquires in a prompt and courteous fashion
Arrange and coordinate tours of the Park Tudor campus, class visitations, open houses, high school nights, and other admissions activities as deemed necessary
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Enrollment Management

Prior experience in a fast-paced school admissions, marketing, sales, and/or communications role preferred.
