Buxton School is now accepting applications for an Admissions and Communications Associate to join our administrative team.

Founded in 1928, Buxton School is a small, progressive, community & arts-focused, boarding and day, high school, located in Williamstown, MA 

The successful candidate should embrace working in a community that values creativity, diversity and inclusivity. 

Responsibilities

• This position entails guiding prospective families through the admissions process, answering phone calls, scheduling visits, processing applications, and representing Buxton School at secondary school fairs. Additional duties include, open house planning—consisting of organizing registrations, coordinating with faculty and staff, and organizing advertisements for both digital and print, managing the school’s social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), updating, designing, and maintaining the school’s website, updating and managing the admission calendar and database, and booking and coordinating student-guided campus tours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and highly relevant experience is preferred
• Familiarity with wordpress, canva (or any digital design software), google suite, and mailchimp is ideal

Some travel and weekend work will be required. This is a full-time, year-round position, reporting to the Director of Admissions.
