Admission Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
This staff member works closely with the Admissions team. The Admission Reception area is often a hub of activity and it is the first impression many prospective families have of CGPS, it is imperative to have a keen eye for detail, a welcoming and calm demeanor, and the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Work with the database, maintaining files and answer questions;
- Manage event registration;
- Manage file maintenance, upload information;
- Answering phone calls in a pleasant, professional, and informed manner; providing; information to the callers, screening/forwarding calls to the appropriate individuals;
- Greets all individuals entering the building respectfully and professionally; monitoring visitor access’;
- Assist the Admission Team as needed at events;
- Answers questions and/or directs the questioner to the appropriate person/department;
- Maintains a tidy and professional space at the front desk at all times;
- Manages tour guide meet and greet;
- Maintains the first-floor reception areas;
- Notify the personnel/ department if there is an issue with cleanliness/supplies/etc.;
- General office duties as assigned.
Work Hours
- Monday through Friday 40hrs per week

Qualifications
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Veracross experience preferred;
- Ability to learn new software quickly, attentive to detail, accurate, data-oriented;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for interacting with the School's diverse constituencies;
- A cooperative team approach, good sense of humor and willingness to take on responsibilities beyond those explicitly defined;
- Interest in, and preferably experience with, basic online research;
- Willingness to provide one's own general clerical support;
- Dependable with respect to confidentiality and policies.
