Work closely with the Principal, President, and entire senior leadership team to energize the admissions program for Bethesda Academy to significantly increase enrollment through recruiting and retention enhancements. Responsible for all aspects of admissions operations including advertising, communication of enrollment opportunities, extensive communications (phone, email, social media, in-person interactions) and responding to all inquiries in a timely manner. Expand the Bethesda Academy network of relationships with other relevant organizations including other schools that might be feeder organizations, social, church, family support, and family groups. Be a team player as a valuable member of the senior leadership team of the Academy.
Position Purpose: The Admissions Director leads, manages and evaluates the student enrollment process. The Director of Admissions is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will work closely with the President and Principal to develop and execute enrollment and recruitment initiatives and all related matters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and implement a marketing and recruiting strategy to meet enrollment goals.
Manage and oversee the Enrollment/Re-enrollment application process.
Guide and assist potential students/families with Financial Aid Applications.
Conduct family tours and interviews.
Arrange Admissions testing, secure all necessary student academic and behavior records.
Build relationships with feeder schools, social and church family groups and other relevant organizations.
Develop and enhance efforts to ensure the retention of currently enrolled students.
Plan, organize and oversee Recruitment Events/ Open House/ Community Outreach.
Perform other incidental and related duties as required.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, Master's degree or equivalent preferred with 5 to 10 years of relevant admissions experience.
