The Upper School Admissions Associate is responsible for supporting the admissions process and procedures and serves as a support to the admissions team. They provide appropriate and accurate information to applicant parents, interested educators, and faculty and staff. The Admissions Associate supports the office through administrative support, conducting parent and student interviews, assisting with activity sessions, and providing event support. While assisting with the entire admissions process PreK-12, this position will primarily support the upper school process. They will be required to travel between campuses as scheduled. Some evening and weekend hours for events are required.

The Admissions Associate reports to the Director of Admissions and works closely with the entire admissions team.
Correspond daily with interested parties and prospective applicant families.
Schedule and confirm admissions activities (tours, testing, playgroups/activity sessions, interviews, and various meetings and events).
Update, distribute, and track admissions application materials.
Generate and maintain paperwork associated with admissions events and meetings.
Enter/manage applicant information in office databases.
Assist with coordination and implementation of admissions events and programs.
Assist with outreach and recruitment efforts.
Attend local school fairs and recruitment events.
Escort student and parent visitors.
Assist with school tours as needed.
Schedule student visits and assessments.
Conduct parent and student interviews.
Participate in applicant on-site observations and visits.
Evaluate applicants during assessments and campus visits.
Participate in Admissions file reading committees.
Assist with updating the Admissions pages of the external website.
Assist with updating the internal and external website pages for prospective and new families.
Provide student data information to families requesting information for off-site files.
Other special duties and projects as assigned.
Three or more years of school admissions or administrative support experience.
Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Bachelor’s Degree required
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of FileMaker Pro or Ravenna Solutions a plus.
Bilingual abilities– Spanish/English or Mandarin/English a plus.
