Congressional School seeks an Admission Associate to join our Admission Team. The Admission Associate supports the Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid and the goals of the Admission Office by managing data, recruiting, enrolling and retaining mission-appropriate students and families. As such, the Admission Associate will partner with the Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid to manage the admission funnel to ensure a high-quality experience for each prospective family. In addition, the Admission Associate will help market the school at admission events. The Admission Associate must be proactive, data-driven, detail-oriented, creative, flexible, responsive, open to change, and collaborative.
Database entry and data tracking
Assist families through the admission process from inquiry to enrollment
Manage applicant checklists and assist families through the admission process
Mail admission packets and make phone calls to all new inquiries and applicants
Follow up with phone calls, questions, scheduling tours and student visit days
Assist and attend Admission events on and off campus; some evenings and weekends
Coordinate meetings for the admission committee to review admission files
Assist with new family onboarding process
Assist with re-enrollment process and retention of current families
Assist with the financial aid process
Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss and plan marketing initiatives
Oversee student ambassador program - help train students and schedule tours
Assist with the parent ambassador program
Assist with carpool and front desk coverage
Other duties as assigned
Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field
Prior experience in independent school admissions
Fluency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and relational databases
Experience with Blackbaud K-12 and/or other enrollment management databases
Self-starter who can complete projects independently
Ability to be highly confidential in handling sensitive personal and institutional information
Strong customer service skills
Detail orientation, strong initiative and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An ability to work in a joyful, collegial and collaborative environment
A sense of humor, warm personality, and growth-mindset
