The Browning School seeks an Assistant Director of Middle and Upper School Admission and Parent Engagement Officer to assist with admission and enrollment efforts.
Reporting to the Director of Admission, the Assistant Director of Middle and Upper School Admission assists with admission processes for applicants Grades Five through 12. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Scheduling appointments and managing student applications on Ravenna;
Interviewing applicants and applicant families;
Assisting with admission events and representing the School at outreach events;
Collaborating with partner schools and community-based organizations;
Serving on the admission committee; and
Performing other admission office duties as requested.
Reporting to the Director of Enrollment in matters pertaining to parent engagement, this position is responsible for fostering dynamic relationships between Browning families and the School. The Parent Engagement Officer will collaborate with school administrators and Browning families to advance the mission and vision of the School. The duties and responsibilities of the Parent Engagement Officer include, but are not limited to:
Partnering with the Directors of Admission and Enrollment to oversee the Family Ambassador Network (FAN) program by recruiting current families to assist with admission outreach activities;
Joining the Retention Committee to assist with retention efforts with Browning families;
Collaborating with Division Heads to coordinate parent events such as divisional parent nights and grade-level coffees to enhance parent engagement;
Working with the strategic communications team to promote the School’s messaging and internal communications;
Coordinating with the Parents Association leadership on organizing and executing PA and their events in collaboration with the Special Events Coordinator; and
Performing other duties as requested.
