The Director of Enrollment Management develops and implements data-driven strategies for the recruitment and retention of mission-appropriate students. This senior administrator sets the strategic direction of enrollment goals to ensure the appropriate mix of students (boarding and day) based on targets established with the Head of School and the senior leadership team. As a member of this team, the Director is engaged with issues that influence school life and affect faculty/staff, students, and families. About Thomas Jefferson School

TJ is consistently ranked among the top boarding schools in the nation and has been rated by Niche as the most diverse private school in Missouri. Please learn more about our school by visiting www.TJS.org and referring to our Statement of Philosophy.
This is an exciting time in our 75-year history. After nine years in the TJ classroom, the school’s fifth Head of School assumed leadership in the summer of 2020. The current Board of Trustees is committed to staff support and school growth, and a new strategic plan will be completed in 2021 with a focus on increasing the boarding population over the next few years. An experienced administrative team will support and partner with the Director of Enrollment Management to make an immediate impact in our small community.

Statement of Philosophy
We exist to provide the strongest possible academic background to high-ability students within a nurturing community. We know that each and every member of the community contributes to student growth. As such, we will engage students in the process of developing a truly educated mind, one that comprehends clearly and assesses critically the conventions and customs that make up their world.
We model the ideals we want our students to have: independence, honesty, courage, leadership, kindness, the habit of hard work, delight in learning, and a sense of responsibility for themselves and for others.
We model for our students a love of learning and of building community.
We have a diverse community and expect all members of our community to respect feelings, beliefs, and customs that are different from their own.
Honoring our founders’ vision that a learning community is strengthened by the continuous engagement and development of all its members, our faculty and staff will continue to grow as professionals and to participate in the decisions that affect them.
