Director of Admission and Financial Aid – Start date as soon as possible but no later than July 1, 2020
The Director of Admission and Financial Aid plays a key role in shaping the composition of the student body, provides leadership for the School’s admission program and ensures equitable disbursement of financial aid resources. The position requires creativity, energy, and competence in written/verbal communication skills. Reports to the Head of School and is a member of the Administrative Team.
The Director of Admission, separate from the role of Director of Financial Aid, encompasses three overlapping and complementary areas: administrative, counseling and marketing/public relations. The Director oversees the recruitment, interviewing, testing and selection of students for the school. In addition, the Director is responsible for the evaluation of all financial aid applications and the equitable distribution of funds, allocated by the Board of Trustees, within the guidelines of the program. The director is also actively involved in the strategic marketing of the school and serves in the administration as a resource and staff support for the Head of School.
This is an exempt, fulltime, benefits eligible position.
5+ years of experience with 2+ in a supervisory role in admission and financial aid and BS required
