The Associate Director of Admissions and Director of Financial Aid reports to the Director of Enrollment Management. The Associate Director works closely with the Director and other admission team members, as well as with internal and external constituencies to enhance the activities of the admissions office.
In partnership with the Director of Enrollment Management, Assistant Head of School, Associate Director of Admission, and the CFO, develop and execute financial aid strategies to attract and yield mission appropriate students
Manage all financial aid applicants, processes, and related communications
Maintain financial aid data to prepare financial aid reports for the Director of Enrollment Management
Extract, analyze, and maintain admission data for analytics as related to the funnel, strategy development, and enrollment management
Oversee contract creation through Blackbaud for enrollment and reenrollment
Work with the admissions team to develop and execute financial aid strategies, as it relates to recruitment, enrollment management, and retention
Continue to develop the ongoing net tuition revenue strategy
Conduct annual financial aid seminars for both internal and external communities, such as webinars and presentations, to educate them on CH-CH’s financial aid philosophies and policies
As approved, attend professional conferences on financial aid
Interview prospective families and students
Attend and represent CH-CH at assigned school fairs, events, and conferences as needed
Attending all admissions-related functions
Participating in event planning: open houses, student and parent visits, registration, etc.
Other admissions-related tasks and projects as necessary
3-4 years of admissions experience
2-3 years of Financial Aid experience at an independent school
Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills
Database management; knowledge of systems such as Blackbaud and HubSpot
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and database systems
Ability to take initiative, prioritize work and multi-task
Team player mentality and sense of humor
