Summary/Objective: As a key member of the Oxbridge Advancement team reporting to the Director of Communications, the Communications Coordinator manages many aspects of Oxbridge’s extensive marketing and communication needs for all three departments within the advancement team: admission, communications, and development. We seek an energetic and outgoing team member with a proven background for brand awareness using digital media, visual, and written communication skills. Our ideal candidate will be a creative person with the ability to produce messaging and write copy that captures the attention of our audience and keeps them engaged through innovative and timely correspondence. The ability to understand and analyze digital data from our communications and marketing efforts is a plus.
Assist with developing and implementing communications programs to support the Oxbridge mission and ensure alignment with the school’s vision, values, and brand.
Establish relationships with faculty, staff, coaches and students, and maintain a high level of interaction in order to produce and manage social media and promotional materials.
Responsible for photography and videography: capture school events, classroom activity, and the Oxbridge community. Edit and produce dynamic finished products.
Assist with developing marketing materials such as advertisements, graphics, programs, flyers, brochures, and digital books.
Strategic management of all social media platforms: review weekly trends and provide input on maximizing messaging on all platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, etc.
Responsible for posting and monitoring all Oxbridge Academy social media platforms on a daily basis.
Monitor competitors’ social media platforms and websites.
Assist in writing and managing weekly school E-Newsletter through Constant Contact and other platforms.
Assist with website management.
Assist with special events.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, graphic design, journalism or related field.
1 – 3 years of prior experience directly related to managing online content or institutional communications.
Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Suite, and up to date with industry leading software and technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communications and strong editing skills
Firm grasp of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other online programs. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop required.
In-depth knowledge of all social media channel functions, trends and evolving updates and algorithm changes
Must be able to produce content at a fast pace.
Possess a creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
Ability to professionally represent the school at community and school events
Ability to work independently with confidence, and also in a team setting.
Ability to work flexible hours when required.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic and initiative.
