Responsible for maintaining student records, test scores, and immunization records; performing clerical and/or record-keeping tasks; handling enrollment and registration forms; sending and receiving student transcripts; scheduling applicant tours and visits. Reports to the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid.
Maintain and file current student records including grades, testing, attendance records, reports, immunization records, and permanent record cards
Manage report card preparation, printing, and filing
Update student information system database
Receive and send student records, transcripts, and testing when applicable
Report immunization compliance and exemptions to the State of Colorado
Process inquiries, schedule tours, and schedule applicant visits
Process re-enrollment and enrollment forms
Manage registration for summer programs and other extracurricular programs
Compile and file annual attendance report to Denver Public Schools
Order diplomas and commencement invitations
Publish programs for Commencement and May Day
Write and distribute letters, memos, faxes, and forms
Prepare admissions materials for distribution at tours and parent previews
Maintain class lists and family directory listings
Coordinate and send summer mailers to families
Record financial aid data
Assist with and attend admissions events, including Parent Previews and welcome events
Update and publish Family Handbook
Order school stationery, business cards and printed admissions materials
Support the Director of Admissions & Financial Aid and the Admissions Associate in the completion of their duties
Other job-related duties as assigned
Strong interpersonal and relational skills
Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism
Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Ability to merge documents and create letters and labels
Ability to learn and maintain database systems: Veracross, SchoolAdmin, and Ultracamp
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Familiarity with independent schools
Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with experience; year-round position
