The Center Communications Coordinator serves in the key capacity of creating content for the promotion and continuous storytelling of Kupu Hou, GlobalX and the emerging Center for Advancing Education through clear and concise marketing, branding, and communication initiatives. The Communications Coordinator serves as a member of the Communications Department and works in collaboration with the GlobalX/Kupu Hou team.
BA, preferably in communications, marketing, advertising, journalism or a related field.
5-7 years experience in a communications field, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong writing, editing, publication design, interpersonal and organizational skills; keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Outstanding story telling skills that are creative in nature and strategic in execution.
Knowledge of media relations and print production.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with web-based communication systems and databases.
Ability to conceptualize, plan, and implement a cohesive strategy for communications.
Thorough grasp of the current and emerging trends in digital and social media.
Capacity to manage details and broad overview while bringing multiple projects to fruition with grace, speed and flexibility.
Confidence with all google suite products
Ability to coordinate projects and share ideas in a manner that inspires and motivates others.
