Qualifications: - A bachelor's degree and five years of progressively responsible admission management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- An entrepreneurial spirit, a proven record of implementing best practices, fresh thinking, and an eye for innovation and creativity
- A commitment to the school’s mission and values and an ability to speak compellingly to current and prospective families to articulate the school’s mission and philosophy
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- A high level of cultural competency and the ability to interact comfortably with a variety of people
- Demonstrated analytical, strategic, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to motivate and manage a large parent and student volunteer base
- Experience and success recruiting students and families from diverse, under-represented communities
- Aptitude with student information database/systems
- Personal qualities of integrity, resilience, approachability, kindness, warmth, humor, positive energy, self-motivation
- Superior interpersonal, organization, prioritization, and leadership skills, including the ability to make clear and assertive decisions aligned with School’s mission and vision
- Empathy for prospective families and an awareness of the needs and sensitivities of parents, students, faculty, staff, and administrators and ultimately be able to manage expectations and deliver admissions decisions in a manner that is honest, caring, and diplomatic
