Francis W. Parker School is a renowned JK-12th grade independent day school. We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Advancement Communications to work with members of the administrative team to lead, plan, direct and implement overall strategies and tactics for all advancement-related marketing and communications in order to raise Parker’s visibility, advance its brand, and articulate clear messaging to internal and external constituencies. The role also provides support for other strategic initiatives and priorities identified by the Principal and Director of Communications to marketing, development and admissions as needed.
Develop marketing and communications strategies and plans that advance Parker and drive increased engagement across all current and prospective constituencies.
Ensure brand and messaging consistency and uphold organizational guidelines to apply across all departments, events and activities at the school.
Ensure continuity of the school’s brand and logo, overseeing the work of graphic designers and print vendors, and collaborating with colleagues, in the production of printed materials and web visuals.
In collaboration with the Director of Communications, support digital marketing efforts including but not limited to; website, online campaigns, email marketing, social media and digital content production.
Develop/edit content, manage strategy, production and execution of the Principal’s Vantage Point communications, the Endowment Report, Annual Report and provide support around creative direction and content development for The Live Creature.
Work with members of the school community and outside service providers to produce strategic, video and audio content for use at events, in emails and online.
Support all planning and development related to assigned special initiatives including: the development and oversight of project plans, timelines and implementation strategies; the coordination of meetings or events; and preparation of necessary materials.
Act as project manager for marketing campaigns identified and defined by Director of Development and other administrative leadership.
Work with the Director of Development to develop a sustainable process for collecting and cataloguing programmatic highlights within the school for use in advancing strategic efforts in the areas of development, enrollment management and communication.
In collaboration with the Director of Development, design strategies and implement plans to capitalize on increased visibility and clear branding of the school to drive increased contributed revenue.
Manage production of all development marketing pieces.
Work with the Knowledge Management team to create and manage a seamless process for the production and dissemination of broad-based written and electronic fundraising and other development communications.
Manage the Development Communication and Events Calendar and coordinate purchase of all stationery for the development team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
In collaboration with the Director of Enrollment and Financial Aid, design strategies and implement plans that support increased student applications and prospective student and family interest.
