Milton Academy, established in 1798, is an independent coeducational national boarding and day school, serving 1,000 students in grades K-12 on a 125-acre campus eight miles south of Boston.
The Development and Alumni Relations Office is looking for a paid, 3-month intern ($12.75 per hr) to work 16-20 hours a week with our Engagement and Communications team. The engagement intern will be an important member of the team. He/she will have exposure to event planning, strategic communications, donor relations and more, supporting a dynamic alumni community. Desired start date is early April working through June 30
Duties may include:
Preparation of event materials (nametags, communication tools, etc.)
Research on industry best practices
Writing of letters, reports, email correspondence and more
Inventory of donor recognition campus-wide
Marketing or communications major preferred
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Self-starter, willingness to take initiative and accept feedback
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google tools, knowledge of Adobe a plus
Juniors or Seniors preferred with an interest in event planning or communications
