The Development and Alumni Relations Office seeks a Communications Coordinator to join the Engagement and Communications team. The coordinator is responsible for support of communications activities, including events, donor relations, and communications deliverables and experiences, as well as general office support for the development and alumni relations team.
Primary driver of alumni social and digital content, developing and posting content that builds loyalty to the School, developing enewsletters, supporting the creation of emails, monitoring online engagement.
Assist with donor stewardship, may include mailing support, maintenance of gift inventory, updating of donor data, and assisting with project management.
Serves a lead role in developing and maintaining development and alumni webpages, keeping content relevant and ensuring an on-brand online experience.
Primary coordinator of department-wide mail calendar meetings, working to ensure communication is coordinated for a donor-centric experience.
Supports the creation of key communications deliverables, including 50th reunion book, holiday greeting, video content and more.
Track alumni and student milestone information (class notes, birth and death notifications), serving as an administrative liaison for Milton Magazine.
Provide general administrative support to ensure the success of the communications team, including reconciling the budget and monthly reports.
Required experience and abilities:
Strong writer and proofreader
Critical thinker and eager problem solver
Customer service oriented
Expertise in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), G Suite; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus
Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable connecting and communicating with a broad range of constituents, including the campus, alumni and parent communities
Familiarity with online marketing tools and channels preferred (WordPress, email platforms and social media channels)
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree and have at least 1 year of administrative experience.
