Position Summary: The Admission Office Manager reports to the Director of Enrollment Management and is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming environment and efficient systems in the admission office in support of strategic enrollment goals.
Deliver outstanding, responsive customer service to prospective families on the phone, in person, and via email.
Track the progress of students through the application process by entering data into and running reports from our school database.
Schedule admission visits and manage visitor communication.
Coordinate the logistics of WRA admission events.
Ensure that all admission office systems run smoothly, including but not limited to: admission testing; inventory of supplies, gifts and printed materials; our historic building; international student immigration compliance.
Provide general administrative support to the team.
The ideal candidate will be collaborative and detail-oriented, with a proven track record of:
Communicating with warmth and professionalism, both verbally and in writing.
Producing accurate and timely work as a result of strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
Working proficiently with database systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Prioritizing and managing multiple tasks independently.
Demonstrating a positive attitude, sense of humor, flexibility and patience.
Preference will be given to candidates with 3-5 years of related professional experience in an independent school or college admission office. WRA welcomes candidates who add to the racial, cultural and religious diversity of the school community.
