Woodlands Academy is seeking an Admission Associate to work in the Office of Admission & Affordability. This is a full-time, 12-month position. The Admission Associate works as part of a team in a dynamic admissions office in a competitive all-girls, college preparatory day and boarding school. This position is a mix of administrative/office support, marketing and customer relationship management. The Admission Associate will report to the Director of Admission and Affordability and will join a highly collaborative, innovative, and experienced faculty.
Schedule and Coordinate campus tours and student visits
Event Management in coordination with student and parent volunteers
Data entry (familiarity with Senior Systems database preferred but not required)
Online Processing of student applications
Coordinate with Marketing on website updates, email campaigns and surveys (experience with MailChimp and Survey Monkey preferred)
Writing admissions correspondence
Some evenings and weekends may be required
Self-motivated, organized, and works well independently
High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Required)
Experience in database management
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with adolescents and adults
Work experience in schools or youth programming organizations
A bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred
At least one year of experience in admissions preferred
Experience in sales and/or marketing preferred
Support, implement, and model the Goals and Criteria for Sacred Heart Schools
Uphold professional standards of personal presentation, discretion, punctuality, and clear, direct, open communication
Understanding of adolescents and single gender education
When appropriate, engage in the life of the school (presence at assemblies, meeting, events, etc.)
A commitment to cultural diversity and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
A willingness to be an active, enthusiastic member of the Woodlands community
Upon employment: completion of Virtus: Protecting God’s Children training and successful completion of criminal offender record information and sexual offender registry information checks
