We are currently seeking a part-time Admission Coordinator for Outreach & Family Engagement.
Position: Admission Coordinator for Outreach & Family Engagement- Part-Time Reports to: Director of Admission & Financial Aid FLSA Status: Exempt
Job Summary: The Admission Coordinator will help promote a positive perception of Sacred Heart Greenwich, build relationships with community organizations, help implement programs to engage prospective students & families, support all recruiting efforts and assist with integrating new students into the Sacred Heart community. Willingness to learn about the School, our mission, curriculum, and admission policies is essential. The Admission Coordinator will report to the Director of Admission & Financial Aid.
Essential Functions: • In collaboration with the entire team, assist in developing and executing a strategic vision for recruitment, engagement, and enrollment of students. • Support the recruitment process by connecting and communicating with prospective students and their families to keep them fully engaged throughout the admission process. • Strengthen and develop relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, educational consultants, realtors, clergy, and relocation specialists. • Represent Sacred Heart at various events both on and off campus. • Initiate and create outreach activities and partnerships designed to generate new inquiries. Engage the community, both internal and external, for increased local recognition of the School. • Assist with planning and management of transition events for new families. • Build relationships with all constituencies to foster a strong sense of community. • Partner with current parents by managing the Parent Ambassador program, parent tour guide training and communication, and serve as liaison between the admission office and the Parents’ Association Hospitality Committee
Qualifications • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional interpersonal skills • Ability to work proactively and take initiative • Bachelor’s degree required • Admission and independent school experience preferred
