We are seeking an Assistant/Associate Director of Enrollment Management. This is a full-time administrative position with a focus on lower school admission. The Assistant/Associate Director works with the Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Office of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid. The Assistant/Associate Director also works directly with the Lower School Division Director, the JK Developmental Readiness Assessor and other administrators and lower school faculty to design, coordinate and develop the enrollment management process consistent with Latin’s mission and philosophy.
Serve as the main liaison to prospective families for Junior Kindergarten (JK) through 4thgrade
Schedule and conduct family interviews and nursery and preschool observations
Work with the JK Developmental Readiness Assessor to schedule readiness assessments
Coordinate visits for applicants to SK-4 and serve as the liaison with lower school faculty
Develop and maintain relationships with nursery schools and pre-schools
Evaluate applicants and prepare materials for the Lower School Admissions Committee
Read and compile lower school admission files
Serve on the Lower School Admissions Committee
Follow-up on contracts for current and newly-enrolled lower school students
Track lower school enrollment data and provide regular progress updates to the Director of Enrollment Management
Assist in the planning and delivery of lower school information sessions, outreach and yield events
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid.
The Assistant/Associate Director of Enrollment Management will report to the Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid. The Assistant/Associate Director is evaluated annually on the fulfillment of this job description by the Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid.
Requirements for the Position
Bachelor’s degree required
3-5 years admissions/enrollment management experience preferred, preferably in the independent school sector
Experience working with lower school-age children and families preferred
Strong IT skills and experience with enrollment management databases (Ravenna preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with a culturally diverse community of families and students
Ability to handle confidential materials
