Job Title: Assistant to the Director of Admission and Financial Aid/Director of Student Ambassadors
Reports to: Director of Admission and Financial Aid
The Assistant to the Director of Admission and Director of Student Ambassadors serves two major roles: working with the Director of Admission and Financial Aid with her administrative needs and special projects and working with Upper School Student Ambassadors by training them as tour guides and shadow day hosts. This position is responsible for building and maintaining a vibrant and robust student-volunteer program.
Responsibilities and Primary Duties
Greet all visitors to the Office of Admission and Financial Aid.
Answer phones and respond to all Upper School telephone and Internet inquiries.
Create and maintain monthly reports.
Attend and assist all Admission events.
Complete special projects as requested by Director of Admission and Financial Aid.
Schedule and conduct Upper School Tours.
Schedule and run the Upper School Shadow Visit Program (student component only).
Follow up with Upper School families, as directed by Director of Admission and Financial Aid.
Run the Upper School student Tour Guide Program.
Assist the Director of Admission and Financial Aid in creation of all reports and data.
Prepare, send and process Financial Aid Award Letters.
Skills and Requirements
This position requires strong communication and customer service skills, in addition to a detail-oriented approach to organization and systems. Strong technology skills and aptitude are also required; experience with excel, mail merging, and databases is ideal. Bachelor’s Degree required. Additionally, a commitment to King’s Mission, Virtues, and Diversity Policy Statement is required.
Additional Salary Information: Commensurate with experience.
