Brimmer and May is accepting applications for the position of Director of Marketing and Communications to start July 1, 2018. The Director of Marketing and Communications will be a member of the Administrative Team, working directly with the Director of Enrollment and the Director of Development and reporting to the Head of School, to set communications priorities and develop strategies that positively impact Brimmer and May’s public profile with focus on student recruitment and retention. Work includes establishing an overarching communications plan that reflects Brimmer’s strategic vision, incorporating media relations, advertising, public affairs and internal communications.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Strategic vision for marketing and public relations campaigns
Ability to work with colleagues across departments for cohesive communications efforts
Very strong editing and writing skills
Strength in coordinating multi-component projects
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet short- and long-term deadlines
Exhibits creative thinking to influence the design of collateral and marketing materials
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
