Location: Wayland Academy, 101 N University Ave, Beaver Dam, Wisconsin 53916
Reports To: Dean of Enrollment and Financial Aid
Work Environment: Office (Non-Manual) Work
Compensation Status: Exempt
Purpose: Recruiting students so the Academy can fulfill its mission and meet financial goals.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations:
Regularly provide service to inquiries as assigned by the Dean of Enrollment.
Regular and extensive local, regional, national, and/or international travel, on an as needed basis, via airplane, train, and/or automobile as instructed by the Dean of Enrollment to create a funnel of applicants for the Academy.
Stay connected with current parents to support student retention efforts and encourage referrals.
Regularly supporting the Assistant to the Dean of Enrollment with mailings and answering the phone during his or her absence.
Regularly monitor and enhance the image and brand of the Academy and work with the Dean of Enrollment to make sure that the website and materials are current.
Regularly serve as a mentor to students as assigned through the Dean of Students office.
Effectively and satisfactorily vet prospective student applications before presenting the applicant to the admission committee for review.
Effectively and satisfactorily, on a regular basis: (1) assist in training and managing the Student Ambassadors; (2) schedule student and family visits; (3) assist in organizing and executing Open House events; (4) facilitate institutional partnerships with international consultants; (5) and assist in efforts with student visas by obtaining certification through SEVIS.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
1 + Years of admissions experience at a University or a private independent high school
Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SIS and CRM solutions.
Additional Salary Information: Salary will commensurate with experience.
Wayland Academy is an independent, college preparatory, boarding and day school enrolling 200 students in grades 9-12. There are 50 members of its faculty and staff. Founded in 1855, the school’s 55-acre campus is located in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. The school is accredited by ISACS and a member of NAIS.
