The Agnes Irwin School’s Admission Office seeks an experienced individual to fill a full-time Associate Director of Admission and Tuition Assistance position beginning this fall. Reporting directly to the Director of Enrollment Management, the Associate Director is engaged in all aspects of the recruitment and enrollment of new students. The primary focus of this position is to increase the quantity, quality and diversity of student applicants, primarily, but not exclusively, in the Middle and Upper Schools. In addition, the Associate Director handles all aspects of the application process with prospective families. The Associate Director will also work to develop outreach and marketing efforts as well as develop and implement Touring Tuesday programming, Open Houses, Applicant visit days, Parent Ambassador Program and related programs. The Associate Director is also responsible for assisting in the coordination of the Tuition Assistance program for the whole school.
Successful applicants must possess: • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred • Minimum of three years of experience working in a college or independent school, in admission and tuition assistance, or other highly relevant experience • Experience in the creation and editing of publications, and social media outreach • Proven ability to assist in managing a team • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated expertise building rapport and establishing trust with others • Experience preparing statistical analyses • Proven track record in independent school admission an asset • Experience working with or teaching middle and upper school aged students, preferred • Previous sales or marketing experience a plus • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential situations and materials • Self-initiation and self-motivation for independent follow-through on projects • Ability to attend occasional evening and weekend events throughout the year • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google applications, SSS School portal and admission database software • Ability and interest in participating in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, a plus
